Exporting Reports

Turn your Analytics dashboard into a branded PDF report or a raw CSV file — ready to print, share, or open in Excel.

Overview

Every business needs to take its numbers outside the app sometimes — for a monthly owner meeting, an accountant, or a partner who just wants the highlights. Niqati lets you export everything on your Analytics dashboard in two formats: a formatted PDF report for sharing and printing, or a raw CSV file for deeper analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.

⚠️ Pro or Enterprise required

Exporting reports is available on the Pro and Enterprise plans. On the Free plan, the Analytics screen is locked behind an upgrade banner, so the export option isn't reachable. See Subscription & Billing or the Enterprise Plan to compare plans.

How to Export a Report

  1. Open the Niqati merchant app and go to the Analytics tab
  2. Tap the share/export icon in the top corner of the screen
  3. Choose PDF Report or CSV File (Excel) from the sheet that appears
  4. Wait a moment while Niqati prepares your file
  5. Your device's native share sheet opens — save the file, send it by email or chat, or print it directly

There's no separate "Exports" menu — exporting lives entirely inside the Analytics screen you already use. If you haven't explored it yet, start with Viewing Analytics.

Choosing a Format

Format Best for What it looks like Opens in
PDF Report Sharing with owners, partners, or printing for a meeting A formatted, branded document with your business name, date range, and page numbers Any PDF viewer, or straight to a printer
CSV File Deeper analysis, building your own charts, importing into other tools Raw rows and columns, no styling Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app

What's Included

Overview

Both formats always include your program's headline numbers:

  • Total customers
  • Active customers (last 30 days)
  • New customers (last 7 days)
  • Points issued and redeemed (last 30 days)
  • Total rewards redeemed
  • Retention rate
  • Average visits per customer
  • Total visits (CSV only)

Branches

If your account has branches set up, both formats add a per-branch breakdown: status, total/new/active customers, transaction count, points issued and redeemed, rewards redeemed, and amount spent. The CSV includes every column; the PDF shows a condensed table for readability.

Team Activity by Branch

If any employees have recorded activity, a third section breaks down transactions, points, and rewards per employee per branch.

ℹ️ Historical data note

Branch and team sections only count activity recorded since the Branches feature launched on your account. Older, pre-Branches history won't retroactively appear in those sections — it's still reflected in your Overview totals.

Opening the CSV File

The CSV export is encoded in UTF-8 with a byte-order mark (BOM), specifically so Arabic business and customer names display correctly the moment you open it in Excel — no manual "import" wizard needed.

  • Double-click to open: Works directly in Excel, Numbers, and Google Sheets (via File → Import)
  • Arabic text looks garbled: Make sure you're opening the file directly rather than pasting its contents into an existing sheet, which can drop the encoding marker

File Names

Exported files follow a predictable pattern so they're easy to find later:

  • niqati-report-YYYY-MM-DD.pdf
  • niqati-report-YYYY-MM-DD.csv

Common Use Cases

  • Monthly owner reviews — export a PDF at the end of each month for a quick printed summary
  • Sharing with an accountant or partner — send the PDF by email or WhatsApp without giving app access
  • Multi-branch comparisons — pull the CSV into a spreadsheet to build your own charts across locations
  • Payroll or incentive tracking — use the team activity section to see who's driving the most transactions

Troubleshooting

I don't see an export icon

  • Confirm your plan is Pro or Enterprise under Subscription & Billing
  • Make sure you're on the Analytics tab, not Customer Insights or Performance Metrics
  • Update the app to the latest version

The branches or team section is missing

The share sheet doesn't open

  • Check your device has enough free storage
  • Close and reopen the app, then try again
  • Contact support if the issue persists

Next Steps

Now that you can get your data out of the app, make sure you're capturing everything worth exporting. Continue to Managing Branches or revisit Viewing Analytics.
