Managing Branches
Run one loyalty program across multiple locations — with per-branch links, QR codes, staff, and analytics.
Overview
If your business has more than one physical location, Branches let you split a single Niqati account across all of them. Each branch gets its own name, its own shareable join link and QR code, and its own slice of analytics — while customers and cards still live under one umbrella account.
If you never create a branch, your account looks and behaves exactly as it always has. The Branches section only appears in Settings once you're ready to use it.
Plan Limits
| Plan | Active branches |
|---|---|
| Free | Not available |
| Pro | Up to 2 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
Step 1: Create a Branch
- Open Settings → Manage Branches
- Tap the "+" button
- Enter a name for the branch (up to 60 characters, e.g. "Downtown" or "Al Malqa Branch")
- Tap create — you're taken straight into the branch's detail page to finish setup
Step 2: Link Loyalty Cards
On the branch detail page, check off which of your loyalty cards are sold or redeemed at this location. A single card can be linked to more than one branch — useful if all your locations share the same rewards program.
Step 3: Get the Branch's Marketing Link & QR Code
Once at least one card is linked and the branch is active, a marketing section appears with everything you need to promote that specific location:
- A unique QR code and join link per card, scoped to that branch
- Copy or share the link directly
- Preview, save, or share a ready-made A4 marketing poster (PDF) with the branch's QR code
Print the poster and place it at the counter, or send the link to customers so new sign-ups are automatically attributed to the right location.
Step 4: Assign Employees
The branch detail page shows which employees are assigned to it, but assignment itself happens from the employee's own profile — see Managing Employees for how to restrict a staff member to one or more branches.
How Branch Attribution Works
There's no separate "switch branch" screen. Instead, whenever someone stamps points or processes a redemption, Niqati shows a small "Working at: [branch name]" chip that determines which branch gets credit for that action.
- Employee assigned to exactly one branch: automatically locked to it — no picker shown
- Owner, or an employee with access to multiple branches: picks a branch from a quick sheet, or chooses "No branch" if the activity shouldn't be attributed anywhere
The choice is remembered until it's changed again, so staff don't need to re-select their branch for every single customer.
Branch Analytics
Once you have branches, the Analytics screen gains a Branch Comparison section showing a top-branch-by-customers card and a side-by-side comparison of customers, transactions, points, and rewards per location — plus a "No branch" bucket for any legacy activity that predates your branch setup. You can also filter the whole Analytics screen down to a single branch, or across all of them.
Branch data is also included automatically when you export a report — see Exporting Reports.
Deactivating a Branch
From the branch detail page's danger zone, you can deactivate a branch you no longer use. This immediately stops its join link from working for new customers, but keeps every bit of its historical data and analytics intact — and it's fully reversible by reactivating later.
There's no permanent delete for a branch. Deactivating is the correct way to retire a location while preserving its history for reporting.
Troubleshooting
I don't see "Manage Branches" in Settings
- Branches require a Pro or Enterprise plan — check Subscription & Billing
- Only the account owner sees this option, not employees
A customer's activity landed in the wrong branch
- Check which branch was selected in the "Working at" chip at the time of the transaction
- Make sure staff switch branches when they move locations or cover a shift elsewhere
I hit my branch limit
- Deactivate an unused branch to free up a slot, or upgrade to Enterprise for unlimited branches
